Private, on-device speech to text for AI assistants. Transcribe local audio and video files in 25 languages, nothing uploaded.
Yap MCP is a free, open-source MCP server that lets Claude, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf and any MCP client transcribe local audio and video files (WAV, MP3, M4A, MP4, FLAC, OGG, Opus, WebM and more) entirely on your computer with NVIDIA Parakeet TDT v3. 25 European languages are detected automatically, timestamps are optional, and a read-only search covers the Yap dictation history. No upload, no API key, no account. The speech model (about 670 MB) downloads once and then works offline. Runs on macOS, Windows and Linux with Node.js 20+. MIT license.
AI localization made easy: guided translation drafts, automatic checks and team review for software and websites.
Deploy anywhere from your AI tool: a hosted MCP server that ships apps to AWS EC2 or any SSH server.
Control plane for AI DevOps agents: publish specialist agents and connect MCP from your IDE.
