1. Introduction
These Submission Guidelines ("Guidelines") set out the standards for submitting AI tools to the AI Tools Directory (the "Platform"), operated by Syrup / New Horizon Code PTY LTD.
These Guidelines apply in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
We operate the Platform as a neutral directory and do not verify or certify Listings. All responsibility for submitted content rests with the submitter.
Submissions that do not comply may be edited, restricted, or removed at our sole discretion.
2. What's Allowed
We accept Listings for:
- AI tools, applications, frameworks, APIs, and related services
- Products that are lawful in Australia and applicable jurisdictions
- Tools with accurate, transparent, and non-misleading descriptions
- Submissions made by tool owners, developers, or authorised representatives
3. What's Not Allowed
You must not submit any Listing that:
- promotes or facilitates illegal activity
- contains malware, exploits, unsafe downloads, or security risks
- impersonates another person, company, or product
- includes misleading, deceptive, or exaggerated claims
- infringes intellectual property or privacy rights
- promotes harassment, discrimination, abuse, or harmful conduct
- is spam, duplicated, or irrelevant
We reserve sole discretion to determine whether content violates these standards.
4. Submission Requirements
All Listings must include:
4.1 Accurate Information
- clear, truthful, and up-to-date descriptions
- no misleading claims about capabilities or results
4.2 Ownership and Authority
- you must own the content or have explicit permission to use it
- you must be authorised to represent the tool if submitting on its behalf
4.3 Links
- only official, safe, and transparent URLs
- no shortened links, hidden redirects, or deceptive routing
4.4 Media
- logos, images, and media must be owned or properly licensed
We may edit Listings for clarity, formatting, categorisation, or compliance.
5. AI Tool Representation
Due to the nature of AI systems:
- you must not misrepresent the accuracy, reliability, or safety of your tool
- you must not imply guarantees where none exist
- you must clearly describe the intended use and limitations where relevant
6. Moderation and Enforcement
We may, at our sole discretion:
- review, edit, approve, reject, or remove Listings at any time
- apply warnings, disclaimers, or classification labels (e.g. "unverified")
- restrict visibility or ranking of Listings
- suspend or permanently ban users from submitting content
Moderation may be conducted using automated systems and/or manual review. Not all decisions involve human oversight.
Serious violations may result in:
- removal of all Listings
- permanent restriction from the Platform
- reporting to relevant authorities where required
All moderation decisions are final.
7. No Verification or Endorsement
We do not:
- verify ownership, accuracy, or safety of Listings
- endorse or recommend any listed tool
- guarantee that Listings are free from risk or harm
Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence.
8. Community Standards
To maintain a high-quality Platform:
- be accurate, respectful, and professional
- avoid spam or excessive self-promotion
- report unsafe, misleading, or harmful Listings
9. Reporting Issues
If you identify a Listing that is:
- unsafe
- misleading
- infringing
- or otherwise harmful
