Submission Guidelines – AI Tools Directory

1. Introduction

These Guidelines set out the standards for submitting AI tools to the AI Tools Directory (the “Platform”), operated by Syrup / New Horizon Code PTY LTD. All contributors must follow these Guidelines in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Submissions that do not comply may be edited, refused, or removed at our sole discretion.

2. What’s Allowed

We welcome listings for:

  • AI tools, applications, frameworks, APIs, or related services.
  • Products that are lawful for use in Australia and internationally.
  • Tools with accurate information, clear descriptions, and transparent functionality.
  • Original submissions made by tool owners, developers, or authorised representatives.

3. What’s Not Allowed

You must not submit:

  • Tools that promote, facilitate, or enable illegal activity.
  • Malware, exploits, unsafe downloads, or security-compromising software.
  • Misleading, fraudulent, or exaggerated claims.
  • Content that infringes copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, or other rights.
  • AI tools designed for harassment, discrimination, abuse, or other harmful conduct.
  • Duplicate listings, spam submissions, or irrelevant content.

We reserve the right to determine, at our discretion, whether a submission violates these standards.

4. Submission Requirements

To ensure quality and consistency, all submissions must include:

  • Title & Description: A clear, accurate, and honest description of the tool.
  • Categories & Tags: Categories and tags that genuinely reflect the tool’s purpose and features.
  • Links: Only official or safe URLs. No shortened links, affiliate links, or hidden redirects.
  • Logos & Media: Logos, images, or videos that you own or are authorised to use.

Submissions may be lightly edited by our team to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with our style.

5. Moderation & Removal

  • We review all submissions before or after publication and may edit descriptions for accuracy, readability, or style.
  • We may remove any submission that violates these Guidelines, our Terms of Service, or applicable law.
  • Some moderation decisions may be made automatically using our internal review engines. While automated systems assist with maintaining accuracy and safety, not all moderation involves human oversight.
  • Repeat or serious violations may result in account suspension or permanent removal of submission privileges.
  • Decisions regarding moderation or removal are final.

6. Community Standards

Our mission is to provide a trustworthy, minimal, and fast directory of AI tools. To support this:

  • Be respectful and professional in submissions and communications.
  • Avoid spam, self-promotion beyond your own tool, or hostile behaviour.
  • Help us maintain quality by reporting inaccurate, unsafe, or harmful listings to our moderation team.
